HW 7 — Snapchat redesign

Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't use Snapchat frequently so I don't have a lot of experience with the UI and its follies. But based on my most recent engagement with the app, I found the buttons vs. sliding screens vs. different icons for the same action pretty confusing (I'm sure if I used it more this wouldn't be as much of a problem but...)

I created a loading page that would feature a ~nice~ photo and a tool bar at the bottom of the my feed page that makes navigating the app a bit easier. For example, I don't think it was always this way, but friends' stories are now underneath random in-house news/magazine orgs. I separated it so it feels like it has a real home in the app.

I added a hamburger menu, but if I could go back I'd make it a gear to better indicate it's an icon that navigates to settings rather than more options. I'd also put images in the profile icons next to the names rather than be lazy and just fill it with random colors.
